According to Dr. Enang, Barr. Ekong Sampson does not only possess the requisite unmatched legislative experience and political depth, he was also a man of impeccable character and personality, who has a good understanding of the workings of the country. He charged the people of Akwa Ibom South to vote massively for Dr. Ekong Sampson, saying ‘Ekong will perform well in the senate’.

Responding, the Eket senate hopeful, Dr. Ekong Sampson praised Dr. Enang for exhibiting a true pan-Akwa Ibom disposition. The former State Lawmaker noted that for Dr. Enang to come all the way from Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District to back and support him in Eket Senatorial District resonated well with his bridge building philosophy, which he epitomizes.

He said he was going to the senate to represent an oil rich senatorial district and as such, will from time to time compare notes with Dr. Enang regarding the industry. Sampson expressed that he has been really encouraged by the waves of support he has received so far in his senate bid from across a rich strata, adding that he will continue to build firm bridges.
