I NTERNATIONAL TEENAGER DAY: NYCN HAS ADVISED OUR TEENAGERS TO LAY THEIR SOLID FOUNDATIONS IN EDUCATION.

The state Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria, Engr Smith O. Sylvanus felicitated this year international teenagers Day celebration as he honored the program organized by her Aba South local Government Coordinator today at the council headquarters.

Engr Smith who was ably represented by the Obingwa local Government Coordinator Comr Chika Nwaokonko stressed the need for our teenagers to see education as the bedrock of a greater future irrespective of our society less or none of citizens interest. He further reiterated on the caption of this year theme “YES YOU CAN” as a reawakening call for total commitment in studies, good moral and avoidance of distractions.

He also commended the NYCN Aba South leadership over choosing this time the need to bring together the younger generation into their scheme as part of it’s parental responsibility and encouraged them to continue in the pace for a better society as we catch them young.

The Coordinator NYCN Aba South, Comr Chibueze Anumadu while speaking earlier expressed gratitude to the NYCN council boss for his support and confidence conferred on them and promised to carry on those legacies to the betterment of the youths (younger ones). Also, He further thanked the Executive Chairman Hon Emmanuel Clinton Ebere for his unalloyed support and most especially the entire management board of the schools that participated and made their pupils available.

Highlights of this event was cultural dance exhibitions, Debates, presentation of awards to the best performers and keynote advice/speeches.
